I am a parent, an Intervention Specialist, and an Orton Gillingham tutor. I understand the panic you feel when your child can't read. I understand the worry and frustration they feel when they fall behind their classmates. I am here to help you and your child. I am trained by the Academy of Orton Gillingham and have achieved the Associate Level certification. I tutor in person or virtually in the Akron, Ohio area. I accept students of all ages (including adults!) and I have previously worked with students from elementary age through high school.
I love to read but, more importantly, reading has opened up opportunities for me. I want to help you or your child reach your highest potential by reading proficiently! I have the skill set to work with struggling kids and adults to make real progress.
